This Master Plan envisions improvements and a mix of new land uses for a former military depot. In addition to landscape conservation measures, proposals for the 470-acre park include a park house, boat house, boat launch, beach, interpretive trail, athletic fields and field house. For the 55-acre "School Depot” parcels, the Plan proposes consolidated mun-icipal facilities, rationalized roadways, affordable housing, and designation of a future school site. To meet future Town needs, the Plan recommends State land acquisition for a football stadium, hockey rink and parking fronting Route 3A.
