Red Lion Inn Stockbridge, Massachusetts
DDA’s Master Plan for the historic Red Lion Inn’s property aims to create ease of orientation, guest amenities and revenue-generating facilities where there was once a piecemeal array of parking lots. The possibility of such benefits is occasioned by a few strategic proposals: relocation of the truck loading dock, relocation of a cottage building and removal of two garages. DDA’s Plan features a new shopping mews, an entry courtyard garden, pool and spa enclosure, a pedestrian corridor, a clustering of cottages and an efficient layout for parking, service and maintenance.
